Memory and Residue Dancing for Ancestors

In what way can one dance to the ancestors for them to recognise it and understand it? What form of dance would they relate to - would they be able to relate to Contemporary dance or only traditional dance. In answering these questions, we need to learn, unlearn and relearn the ways of the indigenous practices and interrogate Contemporary dance in a way that the Ancestors could relate to – the indigenisation of Contemporary Dance.
